Anthony Mastellone

President

Anthony Mastellone leads Union Square Events as a 30-year veteran in the New York City hospitality business. A graduate of The French Culinary Institute, Anthony honed his culinary and leadership skills in various roles with both Hilton and Marriott, before embarking on a career in corporate dining.

Prior to joining Union Square Events in 2020, Anthony was Senior Vice President for a global hospitality organization, where he was responsible for a multi-faceted, national portfolio of Business & Industry clients. During his tenure, Anthony drove significant growth in the market with breakthrough activities in Airline Lounges, Off-Premises Catering, Retail Dining and Integrated Facilities Management. 

As President for Union Square Events, Anthony has led the organization through relocation to it’s new home in Industry City while strategically growing the portfolio, extending enlightened hospitality to numerous new partner locations in the New York city market. 

Anthony’s calling for hospitality came during his formative years in Brooklyn, understanding that preparing a wonderful meal for others to enjoy is truly nourishing for the chef and guest alike. He is also a board member for The Fortune Society, whose mission is to support successful reentry from incarceration with the goal of strengthening the fabric of our communities.
