Carlos Villalobos brings over 15 years of experience in the New York City hospitality industry, with a career spanning hotel management, banquets, and food & beverage operations. Carlos has held leadership positions at renowned properties including the St. Regis New York, JW Marriott Essex House, and the Marriott Marquis. He also contributed to the successful opening of several flagship properties, including the Ritz Carlton South Beach and the Times Square Edition, and spent several years in leadership at the Ritz Carlton Battery Park. In 2022, Carlos joined Union Square Events as Director of Banquets at the Conrad New York Downtown, where he oversees a multi-faceted operation in partnership with the Hilton.
At Conrad, Carlos manages large-scale, high-profile events across 30,000–40,000 square feet of meeting space, driving excellence in both guest experience and financial performance. Known for his ability to lead diverse teams and build strong cross-departmental partnerships, he has been instrumental in elevating service standards, streamlining operations, and fostering innovation within the banquet and culinary teams. His passion for hospitality comes from a deep belief that great service is about creating meaningful experiences—ensuring every event is seamless, memorable, and a reflection of the highest standards of care.
